After months of preparation, Moth Transport is officially rolling out its new order management and shipping platform — Mello Analytics — on October 31. The launch marks a major upgrade from the old Two Can Apps system, bringing digital tracking, label generation, and full compliance support into one hub designed specifically for regulated plant logistics.
Transformation
Starting October 31, all orders will move through the Mello Analytics system. Phone calls and texts can still be used for communication, but not for placing orders — everything must be entered through the new platform. The goal is simple: eliminate mix-ups, reduce missing parcels, and make return totes faster and more traceable.
Each shipment will now require a 4×6 shipping label, generated directly by the system. Labels will be attached to every parcel and scanned throughout transport, allowing for tighter control of the chain of custody.
Standards
To maintain compliance and prevent loss or damage, all boxes or totes must:
Be sturdy, sealed, and clean.
Include a portrait-oriented 4×6 label on the short (width) side of the box.
Have state-required documents on top in a clear packing-slip envelope, including:
Transport Manifest (BioTrack)
Invoice (BioTrack)
Chain of Custody Form (auto-generated by Mello Analytics)
These steps will allow for faster pickup and verification in the field and align Moth’s logistics with state CCD regulations.
Arms Ready
All partners must have a thermal label printer capable of printing 4×6 labels — Zebra, Brother, or Dymo models are preferred. Each facility is encouraged to:
Verify printer compatibility and stock labels.
Test printing before launch.
Order a unit now if none is available to avoid delivery delays.
Payments, documents, and small returns will continue to be delivered in deposit bags during driver routes.
