NMS2S: Migration Impacts On Plants
CCD/RTS has published a new migration correction for mature plants that appear to be missing in NMS2S.
Some mature plants migrated into NMS2S as Vegetative rather than Mature. CCD/RTS says the plants are not lost. Operators should locate them under Production → Vegetative plants and use Change Stage → Mature. Multiple affected plants can be corrected at once with Bulk Action → Change Stage → Mature.
CCD also issued Industry Bulletin 26-14 on September 3rd. It does not change a compliance requirement, but it is new operational guidance: CCD and RTS are collecting licensee questions through September 8th and plan to publish tailored NMS2S walkthroughs no later than September 10.
The core retail cutover remains unchanged: BioTrack shuts off September 4th at 12:01 a.m., and from that point forward all regulated activity, including retail sales, must be conducted through NMS2S.
Retail Sync
BioTrack, Dutchie, and several other integrators have provided guidance on updating retail API keys ahead of tomorrow’s migration. But for operators that also hold production or manufacturing licenses, the impact of the cutover on day-to-day operations is still unclear.
There may be a period where activity has to be entered manually in both systems to keep records accurate while integrations catch up.
